Hair in the family!

I wanted to share a little more of my hair history and legacy! You have seen several photo’s and a couple of video’s (on Facebook) of my hair so I thought I would give you a look at where I get it and where it’s going. This is a picture of my mother and my son.

My mom currently has a relaxer although she doesn’t need it. I think see is a 3c texture. She is not on a hair journey but she is old school and naturally practices many of the habits as if she was. As of today she is APL but she changes regularly. Two years ago she was natural and cut short. In my opinion she should go natural but what do I know? She is 77 years old and it works for her plus I think it looks nice. 🙂

My son is natural – DUH! LOL I think he is a 3b texture. He usually wears a short fade and doesn’t experiment much with his hair. When he get’s a fresh cut it looks REALLY NICE!  It will be interesting to see what his children’s hair will look like.
